And we know this is more than a screen shot of a full screen VNC remote terminal session how? I use two VNC apps every day to access Linux, VMS, Windows and Mac systems using my iPad as a terminal...
I'll believe they have a working iPad Linux install when I see the YouTube video that starts from a hard reset and boots up Linux...
...not that I'm a skeptic or anything,..

I used to use Songbird on my iPod, also Rhythmbox. Not tried on iPad though. libimobiledevice dot org looks promising?
