    First Apple product.

My ipad2 is my first Apple product, and so far am way glad I have it. I want to upgrade to os5 for all it's features, but can't use my company issued thinkpad to down load iTunes. Is there a way to do this without losing books and pics I've thus far downloaded on my iPad? Thanks much.
