New to ipad forum email question

Hello all, i am new to the forum and would very much appreciate your help on getting my email set up the way i need it. I have configured my work email on my ipad2 and i basically have a mirror of my outlook which is great. My problem comes when i go to my folders, i have to go into each folder to see if i have new messages. Is there a way to push the emails into the folders automatically like it happens on the main inbox in the ipad or juste like it works on my outlook.???? Thanks a bunch in advance
