Hello,

does the augamented mode work on iPad 2?
it states on their website that it does, but when I rotate to landscape like it suggests, the camera-augamented mode doesn't start-up.
does anyone else have this problem?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Is this only happening in the camera mode or elsewhere. Do you have the small slider toggle just above your volume buttons set to lock rotation, have a look in Settings - General - Lock Rotation. Also go to your multi task bar by doing the four finger swipe up or double press the home button, then swipe to the right. Have a look at the far left setting, does this have a lock on it, press it to switch it. Let us know how you go. Also is this what you mean by augmented or is it more to do with camera settings

I've tried everything you suggested, but still no joy. I have the wifi iPad 2, with location services turned on.
do you think it might only work with the iPad 2 wifi & 3G ?

Sorry Stuart I didn't see your top line, yes the Around me app would only work with 3G through GPS so it can pinpoint your location
