I bought my iPad at a reduced rate because it had been tried briefly and bought back to the shop.

I got a good deal but i think the iPad was originally set up for someone else.

I have looked everywhere and can't find how to change the original user.

Can anyone help

Are you simply trying to reregister for the iTunes store? If so, go to 'Settings', 'Store' and there you can change/update the registration details.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to hook that iPad up to iTunes (version 10.5) and then click the restore button. Then when iTunes is done and offers you the option, select to restore from new [versus from a backup].

This will put your iPad in a fresh out of the box state, which is how you should have gotten it in the first place.
