Hi all - I am totally technophobic and struggling to learn to drive my IPad. After my laptop crashed, I paid a lot of money for an expert to retrieve my photos and address book. Photos are fine but I have been using the address book for a month but, after a friend borrowed my iPad, they seem to have disappeared! PLEASE can someone help me?

I know I could contact the expert but think he might want more money !

Is this the address book (Contacts) on the iPad or your laptop?

Hi - thanks for replying. I am talking about new my iPad contacts which were retrieved from my crashed Dell computer.

It seemed to be fine until a friend borrowed my iPad and they had disappeared. I've found some but obviously there's many I can't find.

I'm slightly puzzled by your statement "there's many I can't find".

Do you mean (and sorry if it seems a stupid question) that only some of the contacts were missing when your friend returned the iPad? How did you find the ones that you were able to retrieve?

Hi - I didn't express my problem at all well! In fact they are all missing but I have found some using my outbox. So any help you can give me would be really appreciated.
