My name is Nikki. I just recentlygot an iPhone and have updated to the IOS5 and have been trying to use my iPad to iMessage as well. I'm trying to edit my contacts on my iPad but I don't see any way to do that. None of my contacts from my iPhone transferred over to my iPad either...if you can guide me a little it would be greatly appreciated

You need to have both devices using IOS 5, then on both devices Go to Settings > iCloud, then turn on Contacts. This should sync your contacts between both devices and Icloud.
