    New on the forum

I want to say hi to everyone one this forum. I bought my iPad 2 in June and I'm very happy with it. Want to buy the new iPhone when it comes out in Belgium.
I updated to IOS5 last week and it looks and works perfect. But there is one thing I really don't understand! I was so pleased I could make new albums on the iPad for my photos. But after I made new albums with my pictures I wanted to delete them from the original album! But you can not do that!!!!!!! When you want to delete the photo it wants to delete it everywhere!!!!!! Even from the new album!!!!!!! So you have to keep the pics in both albums!!!!! How stupid is this!!!!!! Or am I doing something wrong here!

    Thanks,

    Eddy

Unfortunately, that's the way it works. The iPad creates a link to your new album, while all the pictures stay in the main Photo Roll.

I'm learning to (1) Ignore the Photo Roll whenever I want to look at a picure and/or (2) put photos in an album right away so I CAN do #1.

Sorry, but that's the way Apple built it.

Hi guys, thanks for wishing me welcome and the reply to my question.
I have been reading the post about instaling the new IOS5 and I must say it was helpfull. I first deleted all my music and photos from the iPad. So it only took about an hour to install and reset my iPad!!!!!! So that was good!!! After the download I just put everything back, no problem.
