    Ios5 problem

    I just downloaded IOS5 and ICloud yesterday on my ipad2 through iTunes. For some reason while installing, Messages never prompted me to SEND AT SMS (never saw it) or for a phone#. Has anyone heard of that? Does anyone have a suggestion. I tried restore, but ios5 doesn't change
    Meanwhile I can't send or receive any messages through ipad2. HELP!
