    ITunes shops in my location

    Hello
I bought a new apple ipad2 (16GB) yesterday and really appreciate how it works to my purposes. Prior to it I was using samsung galaxy tab. Honestly from the onset I realised that the differecial rate in terms of performance between the two is very clear. Apple iPad is faster coupled with long life battery working hours.
However, kindly assist me with an information on how to find iTunes shops in my locality (Kano, Nigeria) or indeed any alternative if you think it will assist.

The iTunes stores around the world vary from country to country in terms of the apps, music and videos that they contain. This is due to copyright restrictions and local and national regulations. However, many Members have multiple iTunes accounts and several Nigerian Members have opened accounts in, say, the UK or US to get access to the apps that are not available in their country. There's no need to have a UK or US credit card; all you need to open an account is a Gift Card in the currency of the country that you want to open the account in. These are widely available on the Internet and, since you only need the code on the card and not the physical card itself, the retailer can simply email you this number and you're good to go in minutes.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I registered my apple ID on where I am currently, Malaysia. However, it looks like the Apple Store here is in USD. Would this mean that iTunes card from USA can be redeemed here? I've also found that there are UK iTunes cards a bit cheaper (perhaps due to the eurozone financial problem), so that means I need to create a UK iTunes account (new apple ID). However, when I try it looks for credit card... how can this be done, as I only intend to get prepaid (ie. UK iTunes gift cards)?

    Any ideas? Thanks.

PS. Somehow this system feels like the Playstation ID, and its regioning thing.

Wow. Very helpful! Gotta try this but I still have a soft spot feeling for my initial apple ID in USD

Does this also mean, that since Malaysia App Store is in USD, I can redeem USD iTunes cards on it right?

Not really sure about that but you would think so. Yes I guess you must be able to. Could Malaysia have it's own cards though in USD that you would have to buy there?
