Greetings from South Carolina. My name is John and I go by the nickname - "Doc" I am a retired federal Safety director and emergency manager. My education includes a PhD in International Safety Engineering and a Masters in Emergency Management. I have a extensive field experience in information technology in occupational safety and health and emergency preparedness. Mainly a M/S user for the past years, but have purchased and use the iPad2 WiFi version for both personal and business applications. As the founder and chief operating officer for the Aiken Localvore (non-profit organization dedicated to building local and regional food security), the iPad2 has become my right arm so to speak. I am learning to use it for presentations on the fly to clients and the media as well as running the business of the NPO. I hope to learn how to make better use of my iPad2 from the guidance found here on this forum and hopefully, I can return the favor with some of my expertise.
