Hi, purchased an iPAD2 2 months ago and have enjoyed using it.

However each time I do an update through iTunes the update fails when trying to do the restore. It gets as far as Verifying the Restore when I get the error code 6 message.

The first time I disabled my Zonealrm and it worked but this time doing the same it won't work.

Will search around this forum for a solution.

Well finally managed to get my iPAD back up and working again.

Went through the process of updating on my PC but got part way through the process and kept getting error 6 and it would not finish.

Had tried disabling my firewall ZoneAlarm but it still would not restore.

Finally tried UNINSTALLING my ZoneAlarm and yes the iPAD completes the update and all is well again.

So frustrating having to uninstall a program to get an update installed on the iPAD.
