I have had my iPad for about 2 months.
Switched to iMac from PC last Christmas when my PC crashed.
I am 58 and still working in Corporate America as a patent agent.
Got my iPad from work in a pilot program. Idea was that a desk top and iPad were cheaper than a laptop. Pilot is over and we get to keep the iPads.
I love it! Mostly I use AnyConnect for VPN and Pocket Cloud to remote in to my desktop that I leave on all the time so I am using the iPad as a virtual monitor when I am out and about at work or at home.
Have also downloaded lots of other apps. Listen to Pandora a lot and have a big screen TV with Apple TV and Bose speakers....so have used the iPad to listen to Pandora on that setup.

An intro question: At work I use the VGA connector for a projector at meetings a lot and I notice that sometimes the image will not appear on the projector screen when moving between buildings even though everything else is still working on the iPad. If I turn the iPad off and on the screen does work. Is only a problem sometimes. What ios going on? Is there a solution other than powering down? Or should I power down whenever I leave a wi-fi spot?

I saw your question about the VGA issue. Not sure why you would need to power down when you move between buildings. For sure, the power-off, power-up sequence does seem to cure a whole lot of 'issues' but I've not heard of this one before.
