I've been looking around the forums as of late, because since 1 week I can call myself owner of an iPad.
I am quite chuffed with it. I have bought it for personal use first and foremost, but also because it will allow me to get some work done on the train, while still fitting in my purse!
I have for many years been an avid linux user and have only purchased my first Apple product on mac OS 2 years ago. An iMac, which now sadly needs service and a new hd. (this provided me a perfect excuse to buy something else to keep me connected though )
I am presently still trying to get connected via 3G, which has proven to be a pain, at least with the provider of my choice.
I have finished my 'first' ibook, at least of this kind.
I have no predefined goal of what I plan to do with my iPad yet, other than seeing how much of my absent desktop it can replace.
Also, I wonder what the benefit is of jailbreaking, and what risks are involved.
Other than that, I've been busy loading apps and music. So far, I'm quite happy. Whenever I need advise, I'll be sure to ask for it here.
