Just ordered the Ipad 2 WIFI+3G. Sounds much more complex to set up than a pc laptop -so may need some input. Only used PCs til now - apart from the Apple II 48K +Corvus 5Mb harddrive which I paid £6500 for in 1982! Wow!

I visited an Apple store to get some info before ordering so hope I wont make much of a hash of things. Still don't really understanf why I need to connect to a PC to download Itunes.
I will mostly be using with WIFI but anyone got ideas about the best PAYG SIM to go for. Also visiting the US soon and would like to get a US sim card to use while there if anyone has any ideas pse.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

In the US AT&T are probably a good bet....I use them all the time.
