    I can still learn.

My name is Ken. I am a senior user of Ipad2. My adult kids gave it to my wife and me. We love it. Plan to spend some time in this forum, as I know I will have lots of questions as I use my new "gadget."

Welcome, Ken! And congrats on your (well, and your wife's) new iPad.

You've come to the right place to get any questions answered. Heck, you'll probably find answers to questions you didn't even know you had!

Enjoy the forum and see you around.

Hi Ken - I just retired the other day!

If your kids already have their own iPads and you have a Wi-Fi connection, then try out FaceTime - allows you to do VoIP protocol for both phone/video conversations free! Talk to our son via that connection; now, you may already know about this possibility, so have fun!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
