    Active Duty Marine, CA

    Hello all, I just ordered my 3G iPad...can't wait to get my hands on it.

    Ordered if for the eBooks...especially for the kids. I'm sure I'll find OTHER uses for it...AND I have to give up my iPod touch to my wife.

    anyway, am active on couple of other tech forums (ppcgeeks and xda-developers)

    Fair trade for the iPad! I am the wife of a Master Sergeant here in so. Cal. And I also thank you and your wife for your service. Once you get your iPad though, your wife may think twice about that swap!

    Welcome! I don't think I'd go for that swap if I were the wife either! My iPhone has only been picked up for calls and messages since getting the iPad.
