Hello - the iPad 2 is my first venture into the Apple world, I bought 2 tablets. I have been using windows since 1990. I must say I am enjoying this so far. My wife thinks she needs some type of a case for hers. I think she would be losing somethings if she doesn't use the magnetic cover. Any thoughts?

Welcome to IPF from another new-to-Apple user. Why not visit the accessories section, or do a search on "cases" - you'll find enough varying opinions to keep you reading for hours!

Does your wife have any preferences? I.e. a sling case (like a shoulder bag) for mobility?

Of course your wife needs a case - cover - bag or something for her iPad - she is a WOMAN! If she is like a lot of us, she will end up with more than one...I bet! Good luck and I hope you both enjoy your new devices!
