Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

There are numerous ways that you can get photos to your iPad.

    (a) you can synch them using iTunes - photos on your PC can be transferred to your iPad using iTunes when you sync.
    (b) you can email them to yourself from your PC and then collect the email on your iPad. Attachments that are photos can then be saved in the iPad's native Photo app.
    (c) you can use the optional iPad Camera Connection Kit that allows you to either directly connect your camera to the iPad or to upload photos from a memory card - movies too.
    (d) you can use a third-party app, such as GoodReader, to directly send photos to your iPad using either USB or WiFi without the use of iTunes
    (e) you can use 'cloud storage', such as Apple's MobileMe iDisk. You upload the pictures to your iDisk storage from your PC and then download them to your iPad from iDisk. This enables you to keep the photos off your iPad, if you're short of storage space, and only download them as and when needed.

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
