    Les from DownUnder

    Hi guys. I am from Australia and just received my iPad yesterday from my Mum in the states. I teach IT using Macs. Needless to say I am currently investigating the inevitable option of using iPads in the school. For most purposes it can do most everything that the majority of students use computers for. I am also trying to establish an eLearning environment within the school. I believe the iPad will help take it to the next level in eLearning possibilities.

    For the record
    I have been with Apple since 1976 as a user with first computer an Apple IIe ( Lived in USA 1976 - 1988

    Employed as sales manager Apple sales 1984 - 1988 Salinas California USA Then Qld Australia Specialist reseller Apple 1988 - 2008 so I guess we have a lot in common Still selling and supporting Macs with an Authorised Apple reseller but only part time now

    Hi everyone from snowy Edmonton Alberta
    I just bought my iPAd in the US on the weekend, I was totally disAppointed to discover that the App store is not available for is Canucks. Any suggestions on how to download the apps?
