    Hi from Louisiana

    Just discovered this forum. The iPhone I got a couple of years ago opened up a whole new world. Now I have an iPad so I'm getting deeper into the iWorld. I don't know how I ever functioned without my iToys. Looking forward to learning lots of new things. I'm a retired music teacher. Are there any other retirees here or am I the oldest forum member?

    Hi, Judy,

    Yep. I am a retired college prof. Been retired for about six years and live in southern Oregon. I use my iPad a lot for reading and annotating papers in pdf format---plus using it as a scratch pad for my notes.

    I was born and raised in Louisiana, in Vernon Parish. Then did my undergrad work at LSU back in the sixties. WHere are you in the state?
