Hi. I've got my iPad 2 64GB 3G on order from AT&T. I ordered it on 3/18 with a 20-25 WORKING day delivery so I'm also on the prowl to see if I can find one sooner. I pretty much stayed away from Apple (didn't want to have to figure out another OS) until I got hooked on the iPhone a couple of years ago. I figure I'll own a few more Apple products before I'm done...

My favorite pastimes are motorcycle touring (whether it's 5 miles or 5,000 miles) and photography. My job takes me on the road over a 10,000 square mile area of SW Oregon, so between that and my touring, I take a LOT of pictures. Once in a while I even take a good one!

I'm looking forward to ditching my Windows notebook a lot of the time; I've wasted way too much of my life waiting for Windows to boot - where did I get ALL of those "personal settings" from, anyway?

Anyhow, keep an eye out; dumb questions are certainly headed your way!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Welcome, from Cali! Don't worry about dumb questions, Lewis. Trust me. I know

Greetings from a neighbor to the north. I was once a Windows slave (even built PC's from scratch)...but after banging my head against too many walls way too many times I decided enough was enough and made the switch a few years ago. I couldn't be happier and will never, ever go back. As you can see my by signature, the iPad isn't the only Apple in our house.

I;ve downloaded the manual. I should be an expert by the time my iPad gets to me (although I got another email today from AT&T updating the 20-25 working days to 14-32 W.D. from date of order.)
