Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I'm not a great game player myself, so I'll have to leave it to others to get back to you on that. In terms of apps, what sort of use do you expect for your iPad. I use the Apple iPad iWorks suite -- 'Pages' for Word documents, 'Numbers' for Excel spreadsheets and 'Keynote' for PowerPoint presentations. You can see some really nice illustrations of what they are capable of at the Apple iPad website.

Welcome to the iPad forums!!! I actually downloaded "App Start" a long time after owning my iPad!

Welcome to the addiction and the forum...There are a lot of great people...Feel free to reach out with any questions...I'm a relative newb too, but my OCD has caused me to jump right in...LOL
