If you lose, misplace, or have your iPad stolen, you can find it by using afree MobileMe account. Just go to settings/mail/setup. Use your apple I'd to register. To find your iPad from any computer type MobileMe.com and enter apple I'd. You will see on gps where it is and from there you can lock it, wipe it, or send a message with a pinging notification.

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great people here willing to lend a hand anytime. Often using the search feature (in the toolbar at the top of every page) will lead you to the answers you're looking for. If not, feel free to post a question in the appropriate area.

I did it over 2 nights. I had to try out each tip as I went along & eventually had to make notes for the ones I'll use most.

Love this one...this will be great on car trips.
Can someone tell me how these traffic conditions are measured?

When you're watching a video on your iPad or iPhone you can cut out a selected portion of it and save over the original video or save it as a new clip.
With the video pulled up at the top of the screen where the slider bar is you can press and hold on either end of it and slide your finger towards the middle of the timeline to cut out part of the clip.
enjoy,

Good tip.

The area must have s series of cameras installed on tall poles that monitor movement and report to Google

In the UK and some other countries too, they use 'buried loop inductors'. These are buried loops of wire set into the road that are connected to some electronics that detects the passage of a vehicle (Geek mode on...the loops are connected to an electronic oscillator that resonates at a particular frequency determined by the inductance of the buried loop. As a car passes over the loop the magnetic inductance changes (increases) as a result of the metallic content of the passing vehicle, which reduces the frequency of the oscillator. This is detected by the electronic circuitry. As a side note, an all plastic vehicle would not be detected because the plastic would not change the inductance of the buried loop. Geek mode off)

Richsadams, the link you mentioned about printing said to double click home key to show running tasks, question is if you want to end running tasks in background, is there a way to do that?
