newbie to forums and ipads

Hi all. I just got my first ipad today. I've played a bit with others and fell in love. I am a wanna-be tech geek, and I like to try lots of new stuff with my gadgets.

I got an ipad wifi 32gb. I bought it off CL and the last user had a few movies, music, and some apps already installed.

My first question is: If I sync with MY itunes account, will all those get erased? Or will they go into my account?

My next endeavor...jailbreaking it...maybe.

If you sync to your iTunes, the items currently on the iPad will be erased. It's Apple's way of keeping paid apps and media from being shared freely...
