new to ipad forum

Love my ipad, but this morning, I could not get a screen to show. I was about to go to the local Apple store for help, but I tried holding the on/off button and the button on the screen at the same time for several seconds and my ipad came back to life. In the meantime, I found this forum and decided to join. Looks like lots of great hints. I am a PC user, but love this ipad. My children got it for me for Mother's Day last year. Aren't they they greatest.

Wow!!!!! Your kids got you the iPad...can I adopt them?? Please????

You clearly have the best kids around - I certainly never got an iPad from mine - I had to buy my own... but...more seriously

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
