The only option I know of is through GoodReader.

Go to "Manage Files" select the folder you want in the left column (you'll see a green dot when it's selected) then tap "Mail" and a mailing window will appear.
Not white, not black just passionate shades of grey...

From within the iPad's native Mail app it's not possible to add folders, in the way that you can in, say, Microsoft Outlook Express or Microsoft Mail. That's the bad news!

The good news is that, if your Service Provider's mail server supports the IMAP mail protocol (as opposed to the older and possibly more frequently used POP protocol) then the iPad will 'mirror' the folder structure on your server's mail account.

Several service providers offer both POP and IMAP. When you originally sync'd your iPad with your PC it (usually) automatically sets up your iPad mail accounts to be exact copies of your PC account. So, if your PC had been configured to use POP, so would your iPad.

Check to see if your email service provider support IMAP. If they do, switch the email account to use IMAP (it's under the iPad's 'Settings', 'Mail, Contacts, Calendar'). Then set up the folder structure that you want to see on your iPad on your mail account - perhaps logging in using Webmail. Once you've changed the folder structure on your email service provider's server, you'll find that it will be exactly reproduced on your iPad.

OK - this sounds a fairly tortuous and long-winded procedure, but it's not too bad - just difficult to explain (or, more likely, that I'm just bad at explaining it!).

If you need some specific help, don't hesitate to get back in touch. Send us the details of your current server settings (obviously not your account name or passwords!!) and we'll try and help.
