I just found this forum and wanted to say hi! I got my iPad for Xmas and love it! Now if I can just get my printer to work with it!!!!!

Welcome to the Forum. You'll find a bunch of iPad enthusiasts here who are only too willing to help.

OK - the printer. If you tell us what make/model it is, then we can try and help. If it's an AirPrint compatible WiFi printer, then you're good to go out of the box.

If not, you'll need a third party app - such as 'Print N Share' which cleverly 'convinces' the iPad that it's connected wirelessly to an AirPrint printer and inserts itself into the in-app printing menu.

If your printer isn't WiFi then Print N Share can still work, via a WiFi connection to your PC.

Unfortunately you cannot connect the iPad *directly* to a wired printer - not even via the iPad's 'USB' cable, which has only limited capability. Similarly Bluetooth printers are not supported by the iPad.
