Hey everyone,

MY name is Nami and I'm from Israel. I recently won an iPad (yeah!!) and can't wait to learn all about it. I came across 2 issues I cant seem to solve myself:
1. How do I tell the version of my new iPad?
2. For some reason I cannot make any purchases on the App Store. I keep getting the message that "I must log in with my Israeli account and I can't use the American App Store".

Wow, how lucky are you to win your iPad, what a great prize. Have a look on the back of your iPad underneath the Apple Logo and you will see a Model No. Just google this number to find out exactly which iPad you have.

If you wish to buy anything from the US App Store you will need to open an account there. You will need another email address, gmail does not denote a region so is a great email for this. You will also need a US iTunes card, unless of course you have a US credit card. These can be readily bought on the net and as you only need the number, this can be emailed to you. Also look up the address of an Apple store in the US as you will need a US address. If you need any more help, just post. Enjoy your prize!
