My email receives incoming mail but when I attempt to send I get a message "The sender address is invalid". I have tried everything, rebooting the system, deleting the settings and starting over and am baffled. Any ideas???

My email receives incoming mail but when I attempt to send I get a message "The sender address is invalid". I have tried everything, rebooting the system, deleting the settings and starting over and am baffled. Any ideas???
