    iPad 2

    Occasionally my space bar disappears when using Safari. Anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?

    No need to fix it. Your keyboard changes according to the expected input. There are no spaces in a web address so there is no need for a space. Your keyboard will change back when normal text entry is expected, such as when you are typing in a search.
