    My Ipad2's screen is looked.

    Hi Freinds,
    I am new with Ipad 2 and absolutely new at this forum. While using the Ipad2, my device's screen was locked and a message appears. It reads"ICloud Backup This Ipad hasn't been backed up in 3 weeks. Backups happen when this Ipad is plugged in,locked and connected to Wi-Fi." I try to slide my finger over OK and also over "Slide to unlock" but nothing happens and the device remains locked.
    Can my experienced and knowledgeable friends at this forum please guide me as to how must I proceed to rectify this problem.
