I'm trying to sync a single mp3 file from my laptop to my iPad2. In iTunes on the laptop I've picked the file, clicked on
the arrow beside the title, clicked 'Add To' and clicked on 'Heather's iPad'. Where do I find it on the iPad? I've looked in Music and in iTunes. It must be there somewhere!?

With iTunes, you have to Add to Library, then go click on the device in iTunes to show the categories across the top. Click on the Music tab. You need to find that file and check it to sync to the device. Alternatively, you can go into your library itself and add said file to one of your playlists that already sync with your device. Either way, you then need to click Sync to have it synced across.
