Absinthe does not need apple to jailbreak. You should initial setup first. You shouldn't have any issues but in the case something fails, you will need to restore. And yes, you'll be stuck with iOS 6

Well I finally got my iPad busted out of jail. It was a long road. Tried many different things. What eventually worked was:
-re-restore 5.1.1 using redsn0w 0,9,15b2 the appropriate ipsw file, and an shsh blob that was on Cydia from back when I was Jailbroken on 5,0,1
-after the first reboot I chose to restore as a new iPad, not from backup
-then jailbreak using Redsn0w 0,9,15b2

I restored I pad and jbed with obstinth , 2.0.4 ...cydia got disappeared , along with setting, and App Store .i restored again , i pad was working fine until , I jbed again and I clicked on cydia , and during opening of cydia it got disappeared again , thanks in advance , what to do ?

Has this thread closed now seeing that everyone is super quiet?

Have you recently downloaded any new jailbroken apps or tweaks? If you did, one or more of them may be incompatible with the iPad. You could try deleting any recently added tweaks or apps until you are able to get your iPad working again. Once you've determined which tweak or app caused the problem, delete it.

After I checked the website again (greenpois0n), the latest version is 2.0.4. Just a reminder...

I'd suggest that if you are having problems with Absinthe, restore to a clean 5.1.1 and try redsn0w instead. IMHO redsn0w has been much more stable and reliable for jailbreaking the iPad2 and iPad3 on 5.1.1.

It is a simple "one click" process. Just connect the device, start redsn0w, and press "jailbreak"
