Paste image in Numbers.

I have an app that can paste an image to the clip/paste board. I can paste the image to a keynote slide. Is there any way I can paste it to a Numbers cell? I could go via the film role, but don't want to fill it up and then have to delete again.

You can paste an image into Numbers but it appears to 'float' on top of the spreadsheet. I'm assuming that's not what you were looking for.

But how do you paste?
All I seem to be able to do is insert an image from the photo library

OK - mia culpa - that's what I was doing - i.e. entering one from the Photo library...
