About LinkBacksMy files are kept on a NAS (personal cloud) storage device (Western Digital MyBookLive). I'd like to be able to create and edit docs and spreadsheets on my iPad, retrieving and storing them on my NAS device.
Can iWork do this? Can any of the other office apps do this?

If your NAS has WebDav support, this will be possible trough any of the iWorks programs.
Check your documentation for the NAS and you should find how to enable it, if its supported.
I personaly use my Synology NAS to store my docs and spreadsheets, works like a charm
