    Word app

I need an app where I can open .doc files and be able to edit them. Meaning. Type things on the file and highlight and erase things. I've been using dropbox to view Microsoft word documents but I can't do any editing to them. It's for my class. I need to be able to add or erase words and highlight words and sentences. I don't really care about price if the app costs a lot.

Pages is .doc compatible and costs $10. Well worth it IMO.

Pages without a doubt. I have already wrote 3 essays with that app and it works perfectly. (In .doc format too btw)

DocsToGo is the other app. Actually, it's part of a suite...it does Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF.

If you have a permanent Internet Connection you should try out CloudOn.

I also would recommend CloudOn. If you have a google drive account you can place documents into an offline folder to work on them when you don't have a connection if that is an issue.
