I don't update to iOS 6 because I don't want to lose Google Map, I don't update to iTunes 11 because the new design is crap. Is it me or is Apple regressing?

We understand your frustrations with the new iOS and iTunes.

However, we currently have a discussion thread going here about the new iTunes 11: Apple Releases iTunes 11

As these discussions already exist, we encourage you to visit and maybe participate in those discussions rather than start another, similar one.
