I wonder if anyone has this problem and knows a fix: When I open an attachment in mail (e.g. a PDF), it opens fine and I can view it, but the menus disappear so there is no way to get back to the mail program. Restarting is the only fix I found. I can go back to the home screen, but if I then return to mail, the PDF is still there full screen with no menus.
Bug, or user error?

You should just have to tap anywhere on the screen and the "done" bar comes back into view.

Tap, double tap, hold, two finger tap, etc etc. Nothing works

Could it be that it only happens to that specific attachment? Does it happen to every attachment you have?

I have good reader, but how do I open a PDF attached to an email please? Is there an option to save it that I've not spotted? Thanks

When you open goodreader, click on "web downloads" then choose the option "connect to servers" . In this option you could see several options. From "popular mail servers ( includes gmail, but yahoo is a paid account)" , MobileMe, google docs , dropbox and etc. Just set up your account, you will be ask to fill in your e-mail add, and password.
