I've had no issues updating the pad before now, but now I seem to get the error that the update servers are not available? Been like this all weekend and now today. Computer is wide open for port 80/443.

Solved my own problem by using another pc to do it, strange but it worked.

have you used the pc to downgrade an iphone or ipad? that sounds like what happened.

downgrade would be ok.

Not sure what the problem was, I've never done any downgrading. It updated fine on another machine....who knows.
