Sync contacts?

This is a discussion on Sync contacts? within the iPad OS forums, part of the Apple iPad Discussions category; I just updated to 3.2.1. At the end of the process a window sez this to me: "Itunes could not sync contacts to the iPad ...

    Sync contacts?

    I just updated to 3.2.1. At the end of the process a window sez this to me:
    "Itunes could not sync contacts to the iPad because an error occurred remapping record identifiers."

    What does this mean?

    This is related to the iPhone but may work:

    Apple - Support - Discussions - remapping record identifiers error ...
