I exchanged my ipad 2 today due to the microphone not working. The replacement unit was on 4.35. When I set it up to itunes the restore failed several times due to error 1654???? By restarting the laptop and putting the ipad in DFU mode it eventually restored.
What I am totally confused about now is how do I get all my info back from icloud- accounts program info, emails, all the stuff it is supposedly backing up overnight.
I have gone into settings and now find 3 entries for backups- my iphone, my ipad2 that has been replaced now and my new ipad 2. The only option for the backup is delete. I am totally confused, can anyone help thanks. David
