Do you mean photo stream? You can't delete photos in photo stream without deleting all the photos.
The ability to delete individual photos will come in IOS 5.1iPad 2 Owner

Just go to settings/iCloud/photos and turn off photo stream an the photos disappear and only the ones you have in your album stays

You cannot remove photos in iCloud by turning off photo stream. It saves everything you upload.
