Not likely. One more beta release to developers before a golden release candidate, which will still be a couple weeks from release. We are looking at early October best case.

I would say that October 10th is still being optimistic as well. If they have not worked all the bugs out yet - and there are still plenty in the last beta release - it will push at least two more weeks.
Remember it will be at least 2 weeks AFTER a final release candidate is shipped to developers.... and we are not there yet.

The iPhone 5 will definitely ship with iOS 5.
