Good point but I thought about that and mixed it up. Actually, after several restarts, etc., it is a little better performing in the map app. Overall, I don't really have any real complaints at this point. I think it falls under the heading of: you get used to how it operates then an upgrade alters that pattern and you have new norms to deal with in performance.
I am now doing a large amount of application work on my Ipad and probably expect too much of the thing. Thanks for the observation.

OK, what is it about 4.3 that cause the battery to discharge so fast. On my old OS I'd go for days without a charge, now it needs to be charged very night? This is my only complaint. I did have to go into the store and get to complete the install however, but I have never gotten an upgrade to work correctly (I blame being a Windows user).

My OS upgrade went fine. Safari has definitely improved for me.

Hi, This is my first post in this forum, so, sorry if I did something wrong. But, I would like to know if someone else is facing a lot of force close in safari after the iOS 4.3 update? My IPad is the first generation w/ 16GB w/out 3G. Thank you.
oly thing I have noticed, and it just might be me, is on my iphone 3gs, the whole phone is running very slow now, it keeps locking up no matter what I am doing, and it did not do it before upgrade, I have restarted it over and over just doesnt help. not too mention my batter sucked before and now forget it lol

I have the 3GS also and battery usage is about the same as before. Do you have a lot of notification stuff activated? Try by disabling location gps, notification, etc... Then reboot and see if it is still slow... Try it also in airplane mode to validate if it would be a network issue.Originally Posted by David79
Then activate one by one each service to see when its slowing down.
I've had an app that was just draining my battery, even if it was inactive... I had to remove it and voila! It was back to normal...

I only have whatever was running before the update, nothing else has changed, I only have them on for a few apps.
