    Using ipad as an external synth within Logic

    I have a korg Microstation and i am able to drive it from Logic 9 on Mac as an external midi instrument. I found that i can do the same with the ipad using wifi midi but the lag is terrible. I connected the ipad to the mac with the standard cable it came with but no joy.
    I have the usb to camera adapter which replaced the old CCK so i guess i need a usb male to usb male cable; one end into the mac, the other into the adapter.
    Anyone verify this will work before i buy a cable? Thought i had one but who ever needs a usb cable with the same connector on each end?
