Still No Jailbreak?

I'm surprised that there's still no jailbreak for the iPad mini deter being out for weeks now. It's using the old A5 processor, so I figured this thing would have been liberated within. Day or so.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this? Or insight about why its taking this long?

Apple's gotten better at blocking the exploits used by jailbreakers, meaning jailbreak developers have a harder job to do. Because of this there is no way to predict when a jailbreak will be released.
You should subscribe to the official iOS 6 jailbreak status thread and keep an eye on the first post in the thread. Any announcement of an upcoming jailbreak will be made here.

Thanks for you're swift reply. I'll keep an eye out on the thread you mentioned liberally. I had truly forgotten how much of. Nuisance even the I pelt tasks in iOS can be without jailbreak.
