Thanks all ! I just wanted to give an update on my experience since the iPad mini launched, and I want to start by saying I stand by my review of the device. Since I own an iPhone 5, the constant switching back and forth from retina to non retina on the mini started giving me migraines at night(I've suffered from migraines since I was 16-I'm 24 now) when I would pull out the mini for extended sessions. The mini will be absolutely perfect for some people who either haven't moved up to retina displays yet(iPad 2 or 1) or need the greatness of an iPad in a more portable size, but can deal with less sharp text. The pictures and videos actually look great on the mini, with the text being very disappointing in quality. This is what was the biggest change from retina and really started to bug me. Again I still stand by my review of the iPad mini and think it's perfect for a certain crowd, but for the $180 more I went ahead and upgraded to the iPad 4 and would score it 9.7/10 to the mini's 8.5/10. Two excellent devices from Apple, it just ended up being that the iPad 4 was for me. After a week or so more of using my iPad 4 I'll try to get a review up in the corresponding forum section. Thanks for reading and enjoy you're great iPad, no matter what size!
