    Weight of the mini

The great think about the e-ink kindle is how light it is when holding it up, it will be fascinating to find out the weight of the mini as it might make a much better e-reading experience when tired.

I have a google nexus 7 and it is superlight. It's not good for all things, but causal reading is one thing it is good for. I hope the iPad Air is similar.

Yep, I had chance to handle the Nexus 7 and have to admit that it is much lighter than iPad. I think iPad Mini may have the same weight with Nexus 7 or so though.

Surely this one would be lighter than any other kind of iPad.

The mini doesn't need to be lighter than the nexus 7, it just needs to be light enough so people can hold it or extended periods without fatigue. I know my hands start to tire after holding my 2012 iPad for more than 20 minutes or so.

A light mini would be good for reading. Weight should be an important point for the mini.

I'm hoping that it'll be around 120lb, that way I don't need to have a seperate mini gym, I'll be able to surf the Internet and bench press at the same time........
