My calendar doesn't have the "calendar" or the "+" button on the left hand corner of the screen like the user guide says and I can't figure out why, or how else to add a date. Can anyone help? There isn't any obvious options in my settings either that I can see that would resolve this. What am I doing wrong?!?!? Forget it, worked it out. Think I need to spend some time getting to know my ipad mini a bit better lol

Is that bug still hanging around? I thought it went away with the iOS 6 update.

Anyway, go to Settings > iCloud and try turning the Calendar on, or if it is on, turn it off, open and close the Calendar app, then turn it back on.
